My roots in photography began as a new member of Boy Scouts, where I had the opportunities to explore and capture the beauty of nature. With my family’s 2MP digital camera, I earnestly snapped photos of untouched nature and wildlife during camping trips. I began fond of nature, and photography captivated me to see nature from a different perspective. The camera unfortunately met its fate quickly when sand jammed the lens mechanism, but the images survived and inspired me to pursue photography as a pastime hobby.

I quickly earned the unofficial position of photographer not only with my Boy Scout troop, but with my school and family. During high school, I was exposed to the cinematic world through the FilmEd Academy of the Arts, which I learned video production skills and storytelling. My mechanical engineering background, aspirations to fly, and creative eye naturally led me towards building my own drone for aerial photography and filming.

A camera in its basic function may be a device used to take images, but it holds much more purpose than that to me. A camera is an invaluable tool to me, allowing me to capture life’s moments and share them with others. There is no better reward for a photography and filmmaker than seeing your work connect people, elicit smiles, and motivate people to take action toward a cause. Such positive outcomes continues to be the driving motivation for me to continue capturing life’s moments, whether on the ground or in the air, still or motion photography. Whether you need help photographing or filming or editing, I’ll be there to help make your life event a memorable one.
